چکیده

The development of quantum computing systems poses a great threat to the security existing public key-based systems. As result, National Institute Standards and Technology (NIST) started Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) standardization project in 2015, currently active research is being conducted apply PQC various cryptographic protocols. Unlike elliptic curve cryptography (ECC)-based schemes, requires large memory footprint key/signature size. Therefore, when migrating protocol, depending on protocol specifications, it can be hard migrate PQC. In case WAVE difficult satisfy accuracy specific algorithm because segmentation signature occurs during transmission due limitation maximum packet this paper, we present two methodologies that while complying with IEEE 1609.2 standards V2V environment. Whereas previous migration studies have focused designing hybrid mode protocols, paper explores solutions more intuitively at application layer We analyzed postquantum digital algorithms (Crystals-Dilithium Falcon) structure basic-safety messages (BSMs) size side. Through this, propose methods perform an independent verification process without waiting for all divided signatures protocol. Our methodology overcomes schemes sizes cannot mounted into also note architecture used as on-board unit (OBU) autonomous driving environment mainly microprocessor. investigated optimized implementation OBU simulated our V2Verifier. Finally, measured accurate latency through simulation Jetson Xavier, which communication network.

Enhancing AOMDV Routing Protocol for V2V Communication

Vehicular Ad hoc Network (VANET) is a special type of Intelligent Transport System (ITS), The design of routing protocols in VANETs is important and necessary issue for support the smart ITS. The key difference of VANET and MANET is the special mobility pattern and rapidly changeable topology. Existing routing protocols of MANET are not suitable for VANET. This paper proposes SD-AOMDV as VANET ...

Autonomous Certification with List-Based Revocation for Secure V2V Communication

Privacy and authenticity are two essential security attributes of secure Vehicle-to-Vehicle communications. Pseudonymous Public Key Infrastructure (PPKI), an extension of standard PKI, has been proposed to achieve these security attributes. In Pseudonymous PKI, a user needs certificates or pseudonyms periodically from the Certificate Authority (CA) to authenticate messages anonymously. But the ...

Simulating Communication in a Service-Oriented Architecture for V2V Networks

A framework based on the concept of service-oriented architectures (SOA) to support the assessment of vehicular ad-hoc networks (VANET) is herein presented. Concepts related to SOA, as well as technologies that allow real-time data acquisition and dissemination within urban environments, and simulation tools to aid the simulation of VANET were preliminarily studied. A two-layered architecture w...
